Summer Top Prospect Camp II

General Information

Marlin Ikenberry Baseball Camps provide an opportunity for high school and junior college player's to be instructed/evaluated by the James Madison University baseball staff. The participants will be instructed in four phases of the game: Hitting, Pitching, Catching, and Fielding. Players will be evaluated by the JMU coaching staff along with other colleges/universities from different levels of collegiate baseball. These camps are designed for the serious baseball player, one who has the interest and desire to play at the highest level of collegiate baseball.

Marlin Ikenberry Baseball Camps are open to any and all entrants.

Prospect Camp Itinerary:

9:00-9:30 Registration

9:35-9:40 Coaches Introduction

9:40-10:00 Recruit Talk

10:00-10:15 Stretch

10:15- 10:30 60’s

10:30-12:30 Offensive/Defensive Instruction
PO’s will not participate in BP

12:30- 1:00 Lunch

1:00-3:00 Game 1
Players not playing will participate in hitting/throwing evaluations

3:00-5:00 Game 2
Players not playing will participate in hitting/throwing evaluations

5:00-5:15 Camp wrap up

This camp format is intended to take place outdoors. In the event of inclement weather, the camp will be modified and performed indoors.

Please note there are no guarantees that players will workout at both their primary & secondary positions with the basic registration. If players are interested in attending camp at their primary & secondary positions please select the appropriate item during the registration process.
